Very. Scary. Sperry.

I ran into Nordies recently to pick up some new Sperry's for my sister when I witnessed a most atrocious offense. Clear sequins. On Sperry's. Don't get me wrong I was elated when TOMs went all sparkly on me but this just does not make sense to me.

Pretty awful.

Not only are the sequins bad enough, on top of it they picked the strangest colors to display them on. I mean, pearlescent baby blue and black checkered tablecloth? If someone can convince me of a way these could possibly be cute I'm all ears but as of right now I'm left scratching my head in confusion.

Lunch and Lilly

After meeting up with the best friend at Companions I headed across the way to the Lilly store. I was disappointed to see most of their "new" stock were things that were actually on sale at the New York location almost a month ago but I was happy to see they carried the mini agenda in what may be one of my favorite Lilly prints of all time!

Naturally I had to get the matching market bag. It's the perfect tote for my summer sailing gear and I can't wait to fill it up with snacks and such for Sunday!

Survived the Move!

Georgetown fun with KAF

I'm back home and settled in for the most part after leaving DC just before the earthquake, thank goodness. Luckily I managed to escape with some goodies from Georgetown before I left!

Anyone who is a fan of Kenneth Jay Lane will just die upon entering Fornash. Or at least will find themselves broke upon leaving. As you can see I went a bit nuts.

Shopping left me in dire need of a sugar rush and Georgetown Cupcake hit the spot!
